We keep this short and plain. Pebblemoor collects only what it needs to sell you a bath mat and get it to your door, and we never sell or rent your personal information.

Who is responsible for your data

CHUN TAT TRADING DEVELOPMENT LIMITED, which operates Pebblemoor, is the business responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about privacy at info@pebblemoor.com.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email, the items you bought and your order history.
• Payment details: handled by our payment processor at checkout. We see only limited information, such as the card type and the last four digits.
• Messages: anything you choose to tell us when you email us.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
• Browsing data: device type, browser, pages viewed and similar information collected through cookies and the tools listed below.

Why we use it

• To take payment, pack your order and ship it with tracking.
• To send order and delivery updates.
• To answer your questions and handle returns.
• To send our newsletter, only if you opted in.
• To keep the shop secure and prevent fraud.
• To understand which pages and prints people like, and to measure our advertising.

The companies that help us

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the store:

• Shopify hosts our website and checkout and stores order records on our behalf.
• Our payment processor (through Shopify Payments and the payment options shown at checkout, such as card networks or PayPal) handles your payment securely.
• Shipping carriers receive your name, address and contact details so they can deliver your parcel.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram): we use the Meta pixel to understand how visitors arrive from our ads and what they do on the site, and to show relevant ads. The pixel collects device and browsing information.
• Email tools that deliver our order emails and newsletter.

Each of these providers may use the information only to provide its service to us or as its own privacy policy explains. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

Some cookies are essential: they keep items in your bag and make checkout work. The rest help us measure visits and advertise, the Meta pixel among them. You can limit these through your browser settings or on our Your Privacy Choices page, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Other information is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.

Keeping it safe

Our site and checkout run over encrypted connections, and card payments are processed by providers that meet PCI DSS standards. No system is perfect, but we limit who can access your information and why.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under US state laws such as California's, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. Email info@pebblemoor.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

Our shop is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

International transfers

Our company is based in Hong Kong and our service providers operate around the world, so your information may be processed outside your home country. We rely on those providers' safeguards to protect it.
